2359 A.D.: Those living on the planetary colonies across the Galaxy already rarely come across people born on Earth. The population of the colonies was mostly composed of those born and raised locally. In this age, a genius was born. He achieved a breakthrough in the research of faster-than-light travel, paving the way for the module of much faster ships.

2550 A.D.: Calon, the future emperor of the Earth Empire, was born. 20 years later, he met with the ideologist Braznof, putting him on track to become a future ruler.

2578 A.D.: Humans were still in the United Nations period when chaos broke out amongst the planetary colonies. The first Star War erupted. The Space Administration fleet wiped out a rebel fleet of 50 ships, killing 35,000 people. This was the last victory the United Nations would achieve in the First Star War.

2579 A.D.: A singer from the colonies named Dorti went on a concert tour. While on the tour, Dorti worked hard to persuade the planetary governments she visited to join the rebellion. The United Nation's police caught Dorti but their convoy was intercepted on route by her fans. After Dorti was freed, the local governments declared their independence and joined the First Star War.

2579 A.D.: The United Nation's Lieutenant Havan passed on intel to the enemy that allowed them to ambush a United Nations fleet. A wanted fugitive, Lieutenant Havan went into hiding and managed to evade the United Nations investigators. Together with Calon, Havan later established the Earth Empire. As an Earth Empire general, he became famous across the Galaxy.

2581 A.D.: After the planetary war begun, Calon, who was almost thirty at the time, established the Earth Liberation Party. In the same year, Havan met Calon and they established the Earth Liberation Army. One year later, they led the Earth Liberation Army to Earth.

2582 A.D.: Calon's Liberation Army continued to gain support, allowing it to grow quickly. The planetary colonies often sent envoys to meet with Calon, one of whom was the massively popular singer Dorti. They would later develop a complex love-hate relationship.

2585 A.D.: Calon's Liberation Army occupied Earth and the United Nations collapsed. Calon seized power and formally announced the formation of the Earth Empire. In that same year, Dorti became his empress.

2586 A.D.: After announcing the formation of the empire and crowning himself emperor, Calon turned to attack those colonial planets that once supported him. He sent the navy to attack and destroy the Colonial First Armada while it was reorganizing. It was a great blow to the colonies. Born in the colonies and committed to their independence, the empire's empress was so furious at her husband for attacking the colonies that she left him. The empress gave birth to Prince Lathys while she was in exile. She passed away soon after giving birth. Lathys was raised by an old couple and later joined the Planetary Independence Party in resistance against his father.

2587 A.D.: The Earth Empire's massacre of colonial citizens inspired the colonies to resist him even harder. Seeing this, Calon ordered that additional colonies be massacred. The Colonial Second Armada and Third Armada began to assemble. They hoped to take out the Earth empire in one decisive stroke, but were unexpectedly ambushed by Havan's force. Both armadas were completely annihilated. The colonial systems no longer had the strength to contend against the empire.

2588 A.D.: The colonies surrendered to the empire unconditionally. The two sides signed an agreement in which the colonies swore loyalty to the empire indefinitely. The First Star War was over.

2600 A.D.: Calon, the first emperor of the Earth Empire, announced the Universe Calendar. Christians held a great demonstration in opposition. Thousands were killed.

1 U.C.: Calon, the first emperor of the Earth Empire, announced a new universal currency, putting an end to the multiple currencies that were used in the United Nations era. The empire named the new currency "Nova Coins". To this day, Nova Coins are still the only currency used by Humans.

27 U.C.: Due to a failed assassination attempt on the emperor, the Planetary Independence Party's Lathys was captured, giving him a chance to meet with Emperor Calon. The first time they met, Calon had suspicions that Lathys was his son. After confirming this via DNA analysis, the emperor did not make the news public. Instead, he released his son, his enemy. Not knowing the real reason Lathys was released, the media praised the emperor for showing mercy.

37 U.C.: Emperor Calon became seriously ill while out on official business with his son Noedric. Hanging on to life by a thread, he announced that his son will take his place if he dies. Groatian, Kedurd and Tiberius, all high-ranking members of the government and military, held a meeting and agreed to take power from Noedric. These three called themselves "the Three Attendants".

41 U.C.: Tiberius, the only military member of the Three Attendants, launched a military coup and seized a large portion of the empire's territory. Groatian, another member of the Three Attendants, was killed in the battle. At the time, Noedric was 17 years old and studying abroad. Tiberius ordered that Noedric be captured, but Noedric disguised himself as a normal citizen and escaped. After learning of this, the final member of the Three Attendants, Kedurd, swore allegiance to Noedric.

45 U.C.: The exiled Emperor Noedric led the navy in a decisive battle against Tiberius. Both forces had a combined total of over ten thousand ships, including over a thousand battleships. The battle lasted a week, and over five thousand warships were destroyed. After losing the battle, the traitorous Tiberius fled. Kedurd's fleet attacked his flagship, turning it to dust. The remnants of the ships involved in that great battle still float through the Galaxy to this day.

46 U.C.: After the victory over the traitorous Tiberius, Emperor Noedric met Onadia, leader of one of the allied colonial fleets, and fell in love. Kedurd, who had previously sworn loyalty to the empire, announced his glorious victory over Tiberius. Also without consent from Emperor Noedric, he announced the marriage of Emperor Noedric to Filla, who was his daughter.

48 U.C.: Tricked by Kedurd, Noedric married Kedurd's daughter Filla. That same year, Noedric's true lover Onadia gave birth to Noedric's daughter Astra.

55 U.C.: Emperor Noedric met one of the previous emperor's former officials, Jare. Jare told Noedric of the love-hate relationship between the first emperor and empress. He also told him that he has a brother, and he's still alive.

56 U.C.: The 33 year-old Emperor Noedric sent spies to scour the Galaxy for his brother Lathys. He finally found his brother, now already in his seventies, in a far away star system. After so many years, and having previously renouncing his father for his tyranny and establishing the Planetary Independence Party, Lathys no longer had anything to do with politics. After visiting, Noedric took Lathys' 7 year-old grandson Kilden with him, to raise him in the hope that he may carry on the family rule.

58 U.C.: Vorhar, who had long coveted the throne, heard that the emperor had found a successor. He sent his own grandson Taosis to study in the Naval Academy to get close to Kilden, who was also studying there. The Naval Academy organized a practice battle that year and Kilden ended up saving Taosis' life. In return, Taosis did not follow his grandfathers' orders by killing Kilden, but instead swore loyalty to Kilden.

61 U.C.: It was clear that Princess Astra was a gifted child. By the age of 13 she had not only finished her university courses, but had achieved two master's degrees and begun work on a doctorate degree.

66 U.C.: The future emperor Kilden and his good friend Taosis began their military service in Troria Star System. Taosis was still under orders from his family to stealthily eliminate Kilden. Having been saved by Kilden in the past, Taosis didn't only disobey his family orders, but he helped Kilden fight off an assassin and was seriously injured in the process. This strengthened their friendship. While Taosis was recovering, Kilden arranged for Astra to visit. Astra admired Taosis for his selfless act, and they soon fell in love. Kilden agreed to help his second cousin Astra and Taosis in their relationship.

68 U.C.: The elderly Noedric ordered Kilden to marry Astra and announced his resignation. Kilden had a great reputation among the people and the news brought about celebrations all around the empire. After the two swore their oaths, the bride and groom revealed themselves. The groom was actually Taosis, he was just wearing a disguise to look like Kilden. Emperor Noedric was furious, but there was nothing he could do about it. This ordeal earned Kilden the nickname "the naughty emperor".

68 U.C.: Emperor Noedric announced his retirement, and proclaimed Kilden as his successor. The Earth Empire entered an age of prosperity. Emperor Kilden appointed Taosis as acting king and Astra was made minister of internal affairs. After making these preparations, Emperor Kilden went against all common sense and organized an expedition force to travel to the Galactic Core via the shortcut in Verne Star System. Nobody ever saw him again.

69 U.C.: A monumental discovery was made in the northern polar region of Earth - the remains of an ancient alien warship. Massive in size, with advanced technology, and awesome firepower, it was named the "Babylon" warship.

73 U.C.: Acting King Taosis was paralyzed for life during an investigation. His wife Astra temporarily took up the position of acting empress. Since a woman had not been ruler for hundreds of years, Astra met with widespread opposition from conservatives. Representing her husband, Astra made use of her genius in politics to subdue her opponents, including the previous empress Onadia, Vorhar and all other political magnates. She officially took position as the Earth Empire's fourth emperor.

85 U.C.: L'kir, a pirate born from a family of scientists, discovered relics left behind by an alien civilization. His great interest in the relics inspired him to continue in the scientific tradition of his family. He discovered that the relics were not left behind by the previously discovered Omahars, but were left behind by another race that called themselves the"Gulmans".

91 U.C.: An imperial science team discovered the star system A-MNSS, where they uncovered additional relics that could not have been left behind by the Omahars. Further research revealed that the relics were left behind by the same race discovered by L'kir earlier in 85 U.C., the Gulmans. The empire began further research on the Gulmans that year.

120 U.C.: The 72 year-old Emperor Astra announced her retirement and announced the 30 year-old adopted son Seloth as her successor. Born to a family of scientists, Seloth had helped the emperor reach new heights of technological development.

121 U.C.: The Imperial Academy in Yeith Star System began experimenting on Spirit Fields. A researcher named Sareda was punished by his superiors for refusing to euthanize cloned test subjects. Luckily, this was noticed by Seloth, who was investigating the area at the time. Seloth didn't only not blame Sareda, he praised him for his kindness. This set Sareda on a path to become the empress in the future.

125 U.C.: Through study of Gulman records, Earth Empire scientists learned to replicate Gulman Spirit Field technology. The same year, Emperor Seloth married Sareda in Ediad Star System.

128 U.C.: Emperor Seloth and Sareda had a son. They named him Ibul. Soon after being born, Ibul displayed an outstandingly strong Spirit Field. He was able to move objects with his mind. This was made a secret, because, as only Emperor Seloth knew, his son had such abilities because he was the test subject in the Empire's very first Spirit Field enhancement experiment.

138 U.C.: Emperor Seloth ordered the Imperial Science Division to publicly reveal the information they had obtained on Spirit Fields. For the first time, the public learned that supernatural abilities truly did exist.

139 U.C.: Emperor Seloth ordered an expansion of the Spirit Field experiments. Ten thousand children were given Spirit Field enhancing medicine without the knowledge of their parents. After receiving the injections, 80% of the children did not display any ability to use their Spirit Fields, but 20% did obtain such power. Amongst them was one with a particularly strong Spirit Field, a future ruler that would lengthen the Earth Empire's prosperity: Oniya.

141 U.C.: The galactic explorer Galen was born. Galen's career as an explorer began when he was only 12 years old. Over his entire life, he discovered a total of 124 new star systems. Galen discovered 6.2% of all the star systems of the Galaxy that are now occupied by Humans.

143 U.C.: The scientist Aiolo succeeded in unraveling the secret to the Omahar ascension. Already skilled in the use of Spirit Fields, the Omahars had finally developed a technology to break free of their physical bodies, turning the entire race into a form of pure energy. In this form, the ancient Omahars were uninhibited by the limits of gravity and light-speed, allowing them total control over matter. In effect, they would've been as powerful as gods.

145 U.C.: Research on the Omahar ascension continued, but no breakthrough discoveries were made. However, it was discovered that there was a great war before the Omahars' ascension in which the Omahars and the Gulmans fought against an unknown enemy with all their force. And so far who was the enemy is still kept a secret.

148 U.C.: Tragically, Emperor Seloth suddenly died while inspecting Dark Dust Star System. His son Ibul, who was only 20 years old at that time, ascended to the throne. The only one that knew the true cause of the emperor's death was his wife Sareda. Because of the inadequate experience with Spirit Fields, he displayed a very powerful Spirit Field, which had eventually tore the cells of his body apart.

152 U.C.: Three massive enterprises, Duran Group, Star Group and Sea Group established the Duran Star Development Bank. The bank's headquarters were located in Duran Star System. Their main business at that time was personal star exploration loans, but the Duran Star Development Bank would later develop into the Ise Consortium.

152 U.C.: Galen was abandoned by his father, leaving him to live in poverty. While living on the streets, Galen was adopted by the pirate captain Gylana and became the youngest crew member of the pirate ship "Luffy". When he was 15 years old, the pirate fleet Galen was traveling with was hit by a star storm. The smaller ships were about to fall into the atmosphere, but Galen piloted a freight ship to bring them back into orbit. His brave act gained him the admiration of Captain Gylana. When he turned 18, he was promoted to first mate.

157 U.C.: While in training, Emperor Ibul came across Oniya, who was traveling in the area. Having a strong Spirit Field himself, he was able to see that she had a Spirit Field that was even stronger than his own. The two of them communicated through their Spirit Fields. Ibul was immediately fascinated by her and she soon became the target of his affection.

159 U.C.: After pursuing her for two years, the emperor finally married Oniya. As another common girl that married into royalty, Oniya was greatly loved by the citizens of the empire. After getting married, the emperor and his empress secretly gathered the two thousand citizens that developed powerful Spirit Fields due to the second round of Spirit Field experiments. With the two thousand as subjects, they ran additional experiments.

161 U.C.: The pirate fleet Galen was traveling with was attacked by the Imperial Navy. Captain Gylana was killed in the battle and Galen took her place as captain. He led the fleet in escape from the empire fleet. Two years later, he learned that Duran Bank was looking for independent star explorers to develop new systems. 22 years old at the time, he was quick to lead his fleet to take up the offer. He gathered up enough capital, then used this opportunity to launch his career as an explorer.

162 U.C.: Emperor Ibul and Empress Oniya gave birth to a son. They named him Koren. Ten years later, Koren was kidnapped while playing and it was suspected that his bodyguards were crushed by a Spirit Field. Emperor Ibul was furious. He had the Imperial Legal Academy+B43 investigate the matter. This incident let Ibul know that there were others that were able to control Spirit Fields besides just the imperial government.

163 U.C.: The Duran Bank offered bonuses for capable, brave civilian captains to join the bank's development fleet. For any valuable star system that they helped developed, the first year's production would belong to the captains. Many experienced captains rushed to accept the bonus, from pirates to explorers to archaeologists. In fact, almost every pirate out there accepted the bank's bonus, and these pirates would later form the backbone of the Pioneer Alliance.

165 U.C.: Duran Bank learned that Emperor Ibul and Empress Oniya possessed powerful Spirit Fields. They sent spies to investigate their supernatural powers. They finally found a scientist who had been involved in the empire's Spirit Field experiments 60 years ago. The bank also learned that the empire's previous emperor Seloth was a test object of the Spirit Field experiments.

165 U.C.: Marshal Gathon, one of the Pioneer Alliance's five great marshals of the Second Star War was born. Gathon was a legend. In battle, he preferred to arrange high-speed attack ships into two wings with battleships in the middle. This battle formation later came to be known as the "Gathon Tactic".

166 U.C.: A Duran Bank scout ship did not report their activities in a star system to the Imperial Star Management Bureau, so an imperial fleet forced the bank to evacuate the system, appropriating the gold-rich star system for themselves. Duran Bank was very displeased with this. The bank's board of directors came to realize that the empire was the biggest obstacle to their expansion. They held a meeting to analyze the empire's military strength, their reputation with the people and many other factors. They formulated a plan to destroy the empire by using pirate forces to attack, starting with the outer star systems. This plan would eventually develop into the Second Star War.

172 U.C.: Due to the break of development agreement that the empire and Duran Bank signed in the year 159, Duran Bank secretly decided to not report 20% of the new star systems.

173 U.C.: Baal, one of the Pioneer Alliance's five great marshals of the Second Star War, was born. The five great marshals of the Second Star War were Baal, Tredia, Konos, Ket-Rau and Ixil.

175 U.C.: Pained by the loss of his son two years ago, Emperor Ibul was no longer interested in the affairs of the empire. He put all his energy into the research of Spirit Fields. Empress Oniya became the actual center of government.

177 U.C.: Empress Oniya was attacked by a Spirit Field attack while surveying a star system, but she was able to kill the attackers with her powerful Spirit Field. The operation was actually a ruse orchestrated by Duran Bank to test the strength of Oniya's Spirit Field. They learned that the empress' Spirit Field was quantum level ten, equal to the power of a small fleet. Duran Bank didn't dare attack her after learning this.

178 U.C.: Valnor was born. Valnor would go down in history as one of the emperor's three legendary generals of the Second Star War. Valnor was the only general in the war to forgo the use of battleships in favor of high-speed frigates and cruisers. His fleet was renowned for its ability to take an opposing fleet by surprise and attack their weak points. His battle tactics were comparable to the German Blitzkrieg tactics of Earth's Second World War.

178 U.C.: Lo-har, a legal advisor from Duran Bank, secretly got in touch with the Pioneer Alliance captain Jomulgh. Lo-har cleverly represented the bank's interests while acting as an individual rather than a bank official He persuaded Captain Jomulgh to organize the captains that were previously pirates into an alliance and carry out star system development on their own. Duran Bank would look the other way, allowing them total control over the star systems they develop. This was part of Duran Bank's plan to begin their attack on the Earth Empire beginning with the outer star systems.

183 U.C.: Konos, one of the Pioneer Alliance's five great marshals in the Second Star War, was born. The five great marshals of the Second Star War were Konos, Tredia, Baal, Ket-Rau and Ixil.

185 U.C.: Arden, a noble of Corvin Star System, had his third son, Corvin. During the Pioneer Alliance's civil war, Corvin was chosen as king and later became the first emperor of the Antu Empire.

185 U.C.: After learning that Duran Bank was not reporting the development of new star systems to the empire, the empire was furious. They decided to raid Duran Bank's headquarters. Having already planned ahead, Duran Bank's upper management quickly moved most of their assets under the name of the Ise Consortium. After the imperial government confiscated Duran Bank's assets, the Ise Consortium brazenly launched into operation.

186 U.C.: Loukas was born. He would later be known as "the Sorcerer" and one of the three legendary generals of the Second Star War. The other two legendary generals were Valnor and Gathon.

186 U.C.: As the conflict between the Pioneers and Earth Empire intensified, the successor of Duran Bank, Ise Consortium, felt the time was right to begin more involved talks with the higher-ups of the Pioneer Alliance. They also invested heavily in advanced weaponry and equipment. As their power grew, the Pioneer Alliance became more aggressive on the outer edges of the empire. They stopped hiding from the empire's fleets. They were "pirates" once again.

187 U.C.: The empire met with opposition from the Pioneer Alliance when they attempted to retake control of many star systems. Although the imperial fleets defeated the Pioneer fleets, the Pioneers took up a scorched earth tactic, using nuclear bombs to destroy the star systems they left behind. This was the first time in history that the Pioneer Alliance used force on a political scale, setting them on par with the empire.

196 U.C.: Emperor Ibul passed away. After learning this, the Ise Consortium began even more in-depth talks with the Pioneer Alliance. Both parties believed that the empire's prosperity would soon come to an end and that they should prepare to partition the Galaxy after the empire's collapse.

203 U.C.: The 15 year-old Ixil accompanied her father Yavonis when he joined the Pioneer Alliance. In the year 206 U.C., Ixil was the captain of an independent exploration fleet when she met with a Pioneer Alliance fleet. The Pioneer Alliance saw the potential in this young woman that was very knowledgeable about space travel and they invited her to join the Pioneer Alliance. Ixil gladly joined, putting her on the path to someday become one of the Pioneer Alliance's five great marshals.

208 U.C.: Ixil came across an Earth Empire fleet. She couldn't give up the star system, so she had to piece together a fleet to fight the powerful Earth Empire fleet. By making use of the star system's asteroid belt and other local features, Ixil devised a flexible, mobile battle strategy and defeated the Earth Empire fleet. Her strategy is now a classic strategy for fighting a superior force that is taught in all the major naval academies. This was also the battle in which she gained her nickname "the witch".

210 U.C.: Bruce, who would later establish the Resistance Force, joined General Gathon's fleet. Following Gathon, Bruce made major contributions to the Second Star War and was promoted to colonel. During the war, Bruce developed a deep relationship with General Gathon's daughter Finari. However, due to political considerations, General Gathon arranged for Finari to marry the chairman of the Earth Confederate, Vrikos. Finari passed away due to her broken heart soon after getting married. In a state of despair, and with hatred for General Gathon and the Earth Confederate, Bruce established the Resistance Force.

215 U.C.: Empress Oniya became seriously ill. Upon learning this, the Pioneer Alliance and the Ise Consortium held a secret meeting and decided that their opportunity was at hand. Without a powerful successor to the throne, the seemingly rich and powerful empire was on the verge of disintegrating.

217 U.C.: The empire existed in name only. The navy was in disarray. The legendary General Gathon requested that nearby fleets join up with his. Making use of his lofty reputation, Gathon was quickly able to assemble a powerful fleet. It was the most powerful force during the warlord era.

217 U.C.: More and more warlords joined up to fight against the empire. Regional leader Vrikos, who would later become leader of the Earth Confederate, announced independence.

218 U.C.: Previously a major in the Earth Empire Navy, Loukas swore loyalty to General Gathon. As one of the three legendary generals of the Earth Empire in the Second Star War, Loukas' "Sorcerer Technique" is now taught in military academies across the Galaxy. After joining General Gathon, Loukas was appointed captain of the first cruiser fleet. He was given an award for wiping out separatist warlord fleets.

219 U.C.: General Gathon wiped out the separatist warlord Potheer. It seemed like nobody could stop Gathon on his path to rule the Galaxy. Realizing this, the Pioneer Alliance decided to strike before General Gathon could become even more powerful. In the year 220 U.C., the Second Star War erupted.

220 U.C.: The beginning of the Second Star War was also the end of Galen's adventure. While on route to the Gravenae Star System, the elderly Galen quietly passed away on the ship's bridge. Even after death, he continued to gaze out into the mysterious depths of space.

220 U.C.: An Antu Empire excavation fleet discovered a destroyed Gulman military base in Di'ersot Star System. Within the base, the empire found proof of the war between the Gulmans and Omahars and a third alien civilization known as the Arcahns. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the Milky Way's two super civilizations, the Omahars and the Arcahns, had already developed technology so advanced that they were almost like gods. They fought a protracted war over the Milky Way's Bosikal. The two evenly-matched opponents suffered heavy losses but the Omahars finally won the war with the help of their allies, the Gulmans.

221 U.C.: The warlord Vrikos met with General Gathon. Vrikos expounded on his view of the imperial government's corruption and described the structure of a future federation-type government. Gathon was impressed. After the Second Star War, the help of General Gathon made it much easier for Vrikos to establish the Earth Confederate.

221 U.C.: Antony was born, he would later form the Free Rangers, the Pioneer Alliance's greatest opponent in Sagittarius Arm. Full of ambition, and an admirer of the Earth Empire's first emperor, Antony couldn't stand doing nothing about the corruption in the Pioneer Alliance government. After gaining enough support, Antony decided to follow in the footsteps of Calon by working to overthrow the rule of the Pioneer Alliance and establish another government similar to the Earth Empire.

221 U.C.: The Pioneer Alliance give Ixil command of the Third Fleet. During the tenth year of the Second Star War, Ixil led the Third Fleet into battle against General Gathon's Earth Confederate fleet many times. She had an excellent performance. Of the five major battles she fought, she won three, lost one and one resulted in a draw. Then, in their final meeting, "the witch" suffered her first defeat, losing her life in the process. After the battle, the Pioneer Alliance posthumously appointed her marshal. She was the only female marshal in the Second Star War.

222 U.C.: During the Second Star War, Valnor, one of the legendary generals of the Earth Confederate, was attacked by General Gathon. General Gathon was forced to stop the attack. Valnor's Blitzkrieg strategy had General Gathon in trouble, but Gathon's superior force was ultimately still victorious. Valnor had earned General Gathon's respect, and so Gathon took him as his subordinate.

223 U.C.: Valnor, who was now considered one of the legendary generals of the Earth Confederate, was attacked by Baal, one of the five legendary marshals of the Pioneer Alliance. Baal's defensive formations were renowned for being as strong as an iron wall, while Valnor's Blitzkrieg technique was known across the Galaxy for its offensive power. One side was a spear that could pierce through anything, while the other was an impenetrable shield. During their battle, Ket-Rau's fleet joined the battle. Faced with two of the five great marshals of the Pioneer Alliance, Valnor was forced to retreat.

224 U.C.: The Earth Confederate's General Loukas led a fleet to attack the Pioneer Alliance's Ket-Rau. Loukas' dazzling tactics pushed Ket-Rau to a disadvantage early on. After losing a third of his fleet, Ket-Rau finally began to decipher Loukas' strategy, then launched a three-pronged attack to break up Loukas' fleet's messy-looking but deadly fleet formation. When both fleets had lost about half of their ships, Loukas was forced to give up and return to base to reorganize.

224 U.C.: Feigning defeat by the Pioneer Alliance marshals Ixil and Baal, Loukas retreated to a star system in which General Valnor was waiting in ambush. The veteran Baal had seen through Loukas' trick and had Ixil feign an attack while he took the opportunity to seize Valnor's defense zone.

225 U.C.: Corvin, who would later become the first emperor of the Antu Empire, had a son. He named him Bavil. Bavil was the first in line for the throne. He would later grow up to become a simple-minded man that was easily affected by a woman's charm. He was tricked by his brother Adiran, causing him to lose the throne and the love of his life - Princess Noria.

227 U.C.: Corvin, who would later become the first emperor of the Antu Empire, had his second son: Manyst. As the second son of the emperor, Manyst would grow up in the shadow of his brother Bavil. He grew to become a sinister man. He later plotted against his brother Adiran, but Adiran cleverly used his other brother against him, killing him.

227 U.C.: The Second Star War entered a period of defense. In Gedia Star System, which was General Loukas' headquarters, one of the three great battles of the Second Star War erupted. It became known as the Battle of Gedia. Under the leadership of General Loukas, the Earth Confederate's first and second armadas had established an impregnable defense net in Gedia system. The Pioneer Alliance's Third Fleet, which was under the command of Marshal Ket-Rau and Marshal Ixil, attacked the system. The battle lasted a month. A total of over 40 thousand battleships were lost. The battle ended with Loukas retreating.

229 U.C.: The Second Star War was nearing an end. Looking forward to their eminent victory, the Pioneer Alliance held a meeting to discuss the distribution of power after the war. Representing the nobles, the Antu Party only had about 20% of the seats, while the Ise Consortium only held 15%. The Pioneer Alliance had over 63% of the seats. In the meeting, the Pioneers didn't pay much notice to the interests of the Ise Consortium and the Antu Party. They set the future form of government as a democratic republic, setting the stage for the future civil war.

229 U.C.: The Pioneer Alliance's new nobles established the Antu Party. The Antu Party's main objective was to reinstate an empire after the Second Star War ended. They wanted a return to centralized rule. After the Pioneer Alliance's civil war ended, the Antu Party gained control of Perseus Arm and established the Antu Empire. The nobles chose Corvin as their first emperor.

230 U.C.: After signing the armistice to end the Second Star War, Vrikos and General Gathon established the Earth Confederate government. The Earth Confederate ruled that all star systems in Orion Arm belong to the Earth Confederate.

231 U.C.: After the end of the Second Star War, civil war broke out within the Pioneer Alliance. A group of ideologues that formed a religion based on unified field theory left the Pioneer Alliance and traveled to Cygnus Arm, which was still mostly uncultivated at the time. There they established the Inkarian Order. Supported by the Ise Consortium behind the scenes, the Inkarian Order took firm hold of the Shortcuts in Cygnus Arm and established their own utopia.

231 U.C.: An Earth Confederate fleet encircled Bruce's Resistance Force. Having been a veteran officer on the side of the Earth Confederate in the Second Star War, Bruce was undeniably an experienced commander. Under Bruce's leadership, the Resistance Force destroyed over 300 Earth Confederate warships and seized their Titan flagship.

232 U.C.: The civil war was coming to an end. After learning that the Inkarian Order planned to gain control of Cygnus Arm for themselves, the Ise Consortium's highest leaders held a secret meeting where they created a plan to overthrow the Inkarian Order. The Ise Consortium's three shareholders, Star Group, Duran Bank and Sea Group decided to invest in creating the Ise Navy. They also decided on rotating leadership, split equally between the three shareholders.

233 U.C.: The year after the Inkarian Order announced their independence, the Inkarian Order government made the development of Cygnus Arm their top priority. Meanwhile, the Ise Consortium was creating a force to fight the Inkarians. Ise's navy quickly destroyed the Inkarian bases in five star systems, destroying the Inkarian's entire military overnight and forcing the Inkarians to give up control of the arm. After gaining control of the arm, the Ise Consortium set their capital in a star system accessible via the Shortcut System and named it Ise Star System. With this, Ise became the fourth major power of the Milky Way Galaxy.

234 U.C.: Rampant piracy was harming the business of traders, so the Galactic Security Company was established. The company was very useful in fighting off the pirates.

235 U.C.: Corvin, who would later become emperor of the Antu Empire, adopted the daughter of his friend who was killed by pirates, Noria. When the empire was later established, she was made princess. The first time Noria visited the palace, the 4 year-old Prince Adiran had a feeling that she would be a key figure in the destiny of himself as well as his two brothers Bavil and Manyst.

236 U.C.: The Pioneer Alliance civil war was nearing an end. Both the Pioneer Alliance and Antu Party had grown tired of the chaos. Both parties were willing to give concessions. The Pioneer Alliance, Antu Party and Inkarian Order signed an armistice in which the Pioneer Alliance was given control of Sagittarius, the Antu Empire was given control of Perseus Arm and the Inkarian Order was given control of Cygnus Arm.

237 U.C.: The Antu Empire Command Academy was formally established. 90% of the Antu Empire's most intelligent military officers studied there. Of course, this also included the famous commander of the Skeleton Knights - Azrael.

237 U.C.: The six year-old Prince Adiran and the seven year-old Princess Noria were sent to the royal academy to study. Noria was a kind-hearted girl and would often help Adiran out. She treated him like her little brother. Adiran grew fond of her. Ten years later, this fondness would turn into love. In the year 255 U.C., Adiran married Noria, making her empress.

239 U.C.: The 18 year old Antony, who later founded the Free Rangers, enlisted in the navy. While serving in the Pioneer Alliance Navy, Antony grew to hate the navy for being so disorderly. He gradually began planning to create a force that could overthrow the Pioneer Alliance and establish an imperial government in its place.

240 U.C.: The Antu Government and Ise Consortium signed the Reciprocity Treaty. The Antu Empire helped the Ise Consortium overthrow the Inkarian Order. With the financial support of Ise, the Antu Empire entered a period of rapid development. Similarly, with the military support of Antu, the Ise Consortium was able to solidify their control of Cygnus Arm.

245 U.C.: Huvare of Sea Group won the election to become the third president of the Ise Consortium. On his first day on the job, Emperor Corvin of Antu sent him a message of congratulations on his presidency. The message also implied that some Ise enterprises were avoiding taxes within the Antu Empire. Corvin hoped that Huvare would help him with this. However, Huvare didn't want to get on the bad side of the enterprises that had the power to determine whether or not he would be re-elected, so he declared this issue a matter internal to the Antu Empire. This eventually resulted in a political split between the two nations.

247 U.C.: Bavil, the first in line for the Antu throne, finished his studies at the naval academy. Instead of returning to the capital to report to his father, he went to Mardi Star System to visit the famous red light district. Emperor Corvin was furious when he found out and publicly cursed Bavil.

247 U.C.: After graduating from the naval academy and celebrating, Bavil went to visit his father. When he reached the capital he met with Princess Noria, who he had not seen for four years. Noria was now 17 years old and had grown to become a beautiful young woman. Bavil instantly fell for her, but since she hated the hedonistic lifestyle of the eldest prince, Noria coldly rejected his request for a date with her. After the sinister Manyst learned of this, he immediately worked up a plan to use her to take down Bavil.

250 U.C.: The Tia-ke scandal rocked the nation. The main player in the scandal was Bavil, the first in line for the throne. While he was visiting Tia-ke Star System, he drugged and raped the beautiful daughter of a local government official. The emperor was extremely disappointed in his son's behavior and immediately stripped him of the right to the throne. He announced that he would choose a new successor to the throne within the next five years.

250 U.C.: While Bavil was hanging out in the hotels of Midos Star System due to the Tia-ke scandal, the second eldest prince of the Antu Empire, Manyst, sent somebody to visit Bavil. Manyst told Bavil that it was his little brother Adiran that had told the media about Bavil's doings in Tia-ke system. Bavil's shame turned to rage. He rushed to the system Adiran was in, planning to kill him with his own hands.

251 U.C.: While in Midos Star System, Princess Noria learned that Prince Manyst was planning to use Bavil to do away with the youngest prince Adiran. She immediately sent a message to Prince Adiran, telling him that she was very ill and asking him to come visit her. Concerned for her condition, Prince Adiran rushed to Midos system as quickly as possible, thus avoiding danger. After learning of the plot, Adiran decided to strike back and asked Noria to pay a secret visit to the spiritless Bavil. Bavil had always coveted the emperor's adopted daughter Noria. She used this to her advantage to persuade Bavil that his true enemy was Manyst. The simple-minded man he was, Bavil turned his hatred towards Manyst, and made plans to kill him.

251 U.C.: The assassination of the prince shocked the nation. After learning that it was Manyst's plot that caused him to lose his right to the throne, Bavil killed his brother with his own hands. Emperor Corvin's wrath was like lightning. He ordered the imperial police to capture his unworthy son Bavil and shoot him on the spot. After losing two sons in a row, Corvin became bed-ridden with sickness, never to get better. Two years later, Corvin was sick beyond cure. He announced that Adiran would be his successor.

251 U.C.: Vrikos, the chairman of the Earth Confederate, had a son. He named him Domokos. In the year 275 U.C., Domokos was elected chairman of the Earth Confederate.

253 U.C.: The Inkarian Order used Bosikal Energy to secretly develop the Pluto Warship and wipe out the Ise Consortium's First Fleet in one battle. With Pluto Fleet at their core, the Inkarian Order launched a wide-scale counterattack on the Ise Consortium. The flagship of Pluto Fleet was the Pluto Warship, which was created by converting a 2300 kilometer wide moon. The terrifying warship destroyed the Ise Consortium's First Fleet in an instant. The Ise Consortium's regular fleets were of no use against such a massive, powerful ship.

255 U.C.: With the end of the Reciprocity Treaty, the Antu Empire withdrew thousands of military advisors from the Ise Consortium and refused to give Ise the blueprints for more advanced warships. The situation between Ise and Antu was intense.

255 U.C.: The Earth Confederate discovered the Shortcut System, which was left behind by the mighty Omahar civilization. The Shortcut System allows ships to travel millions of light years in an instant, making the entire Galaxy reachable to Humans. Further research on the system allowed the Earth Confederate to understand the Shortcut System on a theoretical level.

257 U.C.: The 16 year-old Zinara moved to Antog Star System with her parents. Zinara's father was an official in the tax department of the local government. After learning that their superiors were accepting bribes to allow some businesses to evade taxes, her parents were framed. On their way to jail, they were conveniently killed in a collision. After losing both her parents, Zinara was forced to live on the streets, where she met the Free Rangers. When she learned that the Free Rangers' goal was to overthrow the corrupt government and establish an honest empire in its place, Zinara decided to join them. Wise, resourceful and good-looking, Zinara would later rise to become the Free Rangers' second-in-command.

257 U.C.: The Free Rangers were founded. Their headquarters were established in an unknown frontier system in Sagittarius Arm. The planet they setup base on was rocky and the atmosphere was thin. No Pioneer Alliance bureaucrat would want to colonize such a poor planet, and this made it the perfect hiding place for Antony's new force. The Free Rangers used this as their main base, from which they launched attack after attack on the Pioneer Alliance.

259 U.C.: Although they realized that the Free Rangers were a power that couldn't be overlooked, the Pioneer Alliance bureaucrats still didn't put much effort into fighting them. Due to a reporting error, the Pioneer Alliance launched a wide-scale purge, planning to clean out any possible Free Rangers from their ranks. This incident resulted in the deaths of 370 civilians, none of whom were Free Rangers. The Pioneer Alliance had lost a lot of respect in the eyes of their citizens.

260 U.C.: The Ise Consortium found a weak point on the Pluto Warship and attacked, heavily damaging it. The Pluto Warship retreated for repairs, but the Ise fleet caught up with it. The Ise fleet paid a stiff price, but they did finally destroy the great Pluto Warship, the only warship thought to be completely impenetrable. The Pluto Warship's engine core was fueled by the energy sought after by the ancient civilizations, Bosikal Energy. When it exploded, the Bosikal was injected into space. 30 years later, the radiation emitted by the Bosikal Energy was detected by the Arcahns in Andromeda, resulting in the first Arcahn invasion.

260 U.C.: Adiran, the second emperor of the Antu Empire, made an official visit to the Ise Consortium in Cygnus Arm. The high commanders of the Ise Navy held a welcome ceremony for him. The Ise Consortium had provided the Antu Empire with investment capital after the Second Star War, but many of the Ise enterprises that operated within Antu territory had evaded taxes, resulting in a falling out between the two governments. Emperor Adiran's visit to Ise didn't mend the problem between the two nations. Instead of returning directly home after his visit, Adiran secretly paid a visit to the Earth Confederate, paving the way for an eventual peace treaty between the two nations.

260 U.C.: Triinu, the most famous female spy in the Galaxy, was born to a well-educated family. Triinu was a gifted child. She was an excellent singer and spoke many languages. At age twenty, her family met with misfortune, causing her to hate the Pioneer Alliance with all her heart and eventually join the Free Rangers' espionage unit Dark Rose.

261 U.C.: Regarded highly by the Free Rangers' leader Antony, Zinara was ordered to join the Pioneer Alliance Navy and act as an undercover agent. Zinara used her intelligence and good-looks to her advantage, making several high-ranking officers like her. Little did they know that Zinara was actually a spy sent to help the Free Rangers end the reign of the corrupt Pioneer government.

261 U.C.: After being enemies for so many years, the Earth Confederate and the Antu Empire finally made amends. Emperor Adiran and the Earth Confederate's Chairman Vrikos signed a peace treaty, beginning a new era for the relationship between the Earth Confederate and the Antu Empire.

263 U.C.: An Earth Confederate research team discovered records left behind by the Gulmans that revealed that the Gulmans were mostly wiped out. A small number of Gulmans fled the Galaxy, taking the Bosikal left behind by the Omahars with them. The Arcahns also fled the Milky Way Galaxy in pursuit of the remaining Bosikal, chasing the Gulmans further into the depths of space. Only a very small number of Gulmans remained in the Milky Way, their bodies in a state of hibernation, only waking up once every ten thousand years. They stayed to watch over the descendants of the Omahars: Humans.

265 U.C.: Professor Kusto of the Pioneer Alliance's Sai'ar University published the essay "You Are Business People". The essay thoroughly analyzed the relationship between the four nations that arose after the Second Star War. He praised the union between the Antu Empire and the Earth Confederate and expressed disgust for the financially-based union between Ise and the Pioneer Alliance. Professor Kusto sharply criticized the childish attitude of Ise and predicted that the Pioneer Alliance would never be there to help Ise in a time of true crisis. A key statement in the essay was "You are business people, not politicians!"

265 U.C.: The Free Rangers' first official fleet, Antony's Glory, was established. Once a major in the Pioneer Alliance, Antony was experienced in space combat. Antony personally led the fleet in an attack on a Pioneer Alliance base, where they succeeded in destroying over a hundred Pioneer warships. This was the Free Rangers' first frontal attack on the Pioneer Alliance. Antony announced to the Pioneer Alliance that the Free Rangers would be known as the ones that dug the grave for the Pioneer Alliance.

269 U.C.: Azrael, the future leader of the Skeleton Knights, was born. Azrael worked for the Galactic Security Company for a time, where he fought Scotia to a draw on several occasions. Over their many battles, Scotia and Azrael began to respect each other. Scotia admired Azrael's calm command style and his skills in guarding civilian ships on the battlefield. After one of their battles, she sent Azrael a personal greeting message. The message was obtained by spies within the Galactic Security Company fleet commanded by Azrael and was used against him in court, resulting in his conviction and imprisonment for conspiring with the pirates. After Scotia learned of this, she immediately sent a fleet to attack the imperial prison where he was being held. She defeated the Eighth Fleet, which was guarding the system and rescued Azrael from prison.

270 U.C.: The Pioneer Alliance's Security Division obtained a report that contained the approximate size of the Free Ranger force, their military strength and the location of the base in which the Free Rangers' leader Antony was stationed. Upon seeing that the Free Ranger force was less than one-tenth as powerful as the Pioneer Alliance Navy, the head of the Security Division called a meeting, where they planned to attack and kill Antony.

271 U.C.: After working undercover in the Pioneer Alliance Security Division for several years, Zinara was promoted to second-in-command of the Free Rangers. Zinara was well-known for both her beauty and intelligence. At age 30, she had become a powerful weapon against the corrupt Pioneer government. After being made second-in-command, Zinara formed an espionage unit in Dark Rose Star System that was composed completely of beautiful women. The new force, called Dark Rose, would play a decisive role in the game between the Free Rangers and the Pioneer Alliance government.

272 U.C.: Upon learning of the coming wedding between the Free Rangers' leader Antony and Zinara, who was previously thought to be a loyal member of the Pioneer Alliance Security Division, the Security Division commander Tomax ordered that a force be sent to attack the system in which the wedding was to be held. But Antony was so clever for that. He set a trap in the system, setting nuclear mines in the planet's orbit. The Pioneer Alliance fleet went up in a fiery bloom, like fireworks in celebration of the marriage.

273 U.C.: The future leader of the most notorious pirate organization in the Galaxy was born: Scotia. Scotia was born into poverty. When she was eight years old, she made her living singing at a bar. When she was 12, the captain of a smuggling ship hired her for her sweet voice, thus beginning her life as a pirate. Scotia always had an unrestrained personality. It was her leadership that allowed the Skeleton Knights to grow to become the most powerful pirate force in the Galaxy.

274 U.C.: A mysterious abandoned ship was discovered in Ganorve Star System. The ship looked like a Human ship from the outside, but it contained advanced technology from an unknown race. The researchers were shocked to find that the central computer used the same interface language as human ships. After analyzing the central computer, the researchers were surprised to find out that this abandoned ship was actually the Hercules warship - a ship that was over two hundred years old and once belonged to the expeditionary force of Kilden, the third emperor of the Earth Empire. Knowing that there was no way that Humans could have built such a high-tech ship two hundred years ago, the researchers theorized that Emperor Kilden may have encountered a more advanced race while on route out of the Milky Way Galaxy. From this ship, they also learned that the Arcahns were about to invade the Milky Way Galaxy.

275 U.C.: The 15 year-old Triinu went to Sagittarius Arm to attend the prestigious Tayrn High School. As talented and beautiful as she was, Triinu was well-liked by the boys of the school. One day she was being robbed and Kaleos saved her. It was then that Triinu fell for Kaleos. Kaleos looked like an average guy, but his life goal was considered shocking at the time: to help the Free Rangers establish an empire in Sagittarius Arm. He later joined the Free Rangers along with Triinu.

276 U.C.: While in Lahngrad Star System, Zinara, the leader of the Free Rangers, received news about the information obtained from the Hercules warship. The Hercules' records revealed that the Arcahns would soon invade the Milky Way Galaxy. Knowing that this was a life-or-death issue for the Human race, Zinara immediately passed this information on to Emperor Adiran of the Antu Empire.

276 U.C.: After learning that the Arcahns planned to invade the Galaxy by entering through the Great Black Hole in the Galactic Core, an Antu scientist predicted that the Arcahns would invade somewhere between 280 and 320 U.C. Emperor Adiran knew that no Human force was a match for the Arcahns and that the only hope for the Human race would be for all nations to unite and fight together. The first person he informed of the Arcahn threat was Chairman Vrikos of the Earth Confederate. He asked the chairman to send a military representative to the Antu Empire to formulate a strategy.

276 U.C.: The Earth Confederate's military representative team arrived in Perseus Arm. After sharing everything the Free Ranger spies had learned about the coming Arcahn invasion with the representatives, the Earth Confederate realized that this would be a battle for the survival of the Human race. They recommended that the other two major governments of the Milky Way Galaxy be notified: the Ise Consortium and the Pioneer Alliance. They would request that all governments temporarily set aside their disputes and fight the Arcahns together. After considering this, Emperor Adiran agreed to their suggestion and sent a visitation request to both governments.

277 U.C.: The 16 year-old Kaleos happened to meet the famous sociologist Kusto while on summer holidays in his home town. Kaleos helped Professor Kusto get his stolen wallet back, and the professor invited him to his hotel for a visit. Impressed by Professor Kusto's penetrating analysis of society, Kaleos told him about how displeased he was with the corrupt Pioneer Alliance government and that he wanted to join the Free Rangers. Kusto was sympathetic towards the Free Rangers, so he helped the young man contact them and even recommended that they accept him as a member. Kaleos would later become one of the Free Rangers' most famous soldiers.

277 U.C.: When excavating the remains of Karma Shipyard, researchers learned of something called an "Oracle Core". While analyzing the records on the Oracle Core, the imperial excavation fleet came across Stynom Star System, a system that was abandoned by the Omahars several hundred thousand years ago and contained records on the Oracle Core development process. In this system, the excavation team found materials related to the Core. By arranging five Oracle Cores in different places in space, a Spirit Field could be made to create different powerful effects, such as moving star systems or moving a large tonnage fleet a great distance without the use of the Shortcut System.

277 U.C.: The Free Ranger spy Nykena was captured in Poikona Star System and tortured. With the information obtained from Nykena, the Pioneer Alliance's Security Division launched an attack on the Free Rangers. The Pioneers eliminated an important Free Ranger military base. Then, in Yulann Star System, they finally destroyed the flagship of Antony, the leader of the Free Rangers. Antony escaped with serious wounds, but finally died in the year 278 U.C. due to his injuries.

278 U.C.: After hearing about the death of Antony, Emperor Adiran sent somebody to secretly meet with the new leader of the Free Rangers, Zinara. Adiran also asked the messenger to give Zinara the latest Spirit Field research from Suillan Star System. By the year 282 U.C., the Free Rangers had learned to use this information. They turned Lieutenant Kaleos into a Spirit Field soldier with great powers.

280 U.C.: The Earth Confederate established a fleet composed completely of Knight warships. The secret fleet would give them the upper hand in the war. Analysts believed that the Black Knight Fleet was equal to a fleet of normal ships three times its size. It was of great use when the Arcahns invaded in the year 299 U.C.

281 U.C.: An imperial excavation fleet finally found one of the Oracle Cores in Thulyn Star System. The other four Oracle Cores weren't recovered by the Omahars several hundred thousand years ago because the Karma Shipyard, which used all five of the Oracle Cores, was destroyed by the Arcahns, scattering the Oracle Cores across the Galaxy. The fifth Oracle Core was just orbiting within Thulyn system, but for some unknown reason, they never recovered it. The excavation team immediately brought the mysterious treasure to the imperial research center in Qon Star System and gathered the best scientists from across the empire to research it.

282 U.C.: Now a lieutenant in the Free Rangers, Kaleos volunteered for the Free Rangers' Spirit Field experiments. Due to the side effects of a developmental medicine, Kaleos barely got through the operation with his life. His powerful will and his love for Triinu helped him get through, and he gained the ability to control his powerful Spirit Field.

284 U.C.: The Antu Empire's first experiments on the ancient Omahar Oracle Core were a failure. An imperial scientist who was involved in the experiment was swallowed up by his own Spirit Field. Emperor Adiran was enraged by this accident and revoked the authority of Liverstas, who was in charge of the experiments in Qon Star System. He then appointed Reth, who was born in Harobh Star System, as the head of the research center in Qon system in charge of all research on the Oracle Core. After seven years of research, Reth finally mastered the use of the Oracle Core, and was able to replicate the key technologies of the Oracle Core for the empire.

284 U.C.: The Free Rangers discovered a crashed Arcahn frigate and covertly sent it to Perseus Arm. After receiving the ship, the Antu Empire assigned a large team of outstanding scientists to research it. The research provided a great boost to the Antu Empire's frigate module technology. It was the frigates produced with this technology that allowed the empire to hold back the Arcahn invasion of Perseus Arm in the year 299 U.C.

284 U.C., Khusros are a warlike race. Humans discovered Khusro Star System in Sagittarius Arm. They then became part of the empire. During the Arcahn invasion in 300 U.C., a great number of Khusros joined the war. Many nations would like to have them on their forces due to their strong bodies. [text from main quest line]

287 U.C.: Free Ranger spies in Orion Arm stole the design blueprints for the Earth Confederate's new "Black Knight Fleet" battleships. The intel was eventually passed on to Dragon Lance Company in Pradar Star System. Supported by the Antu Empire behind the scenes, Dragon Lance Company quickly copied the blueprints and sent them to the Imperial Navy. With these high-tech blueprints, which were based on the Omahar warship known as "Cohen", the Antu Empire was able to produce Dragon warships.

287 U.C.: The Antu Empire constructed five Type-I Spirit Field Probes based on the Oracle Core design to explore uninhabited star systems. It was clear from their research on the Oracle Core that there were originally five Spirit Field enhancing Oracle Cores, but the other four were lost in the ancient war hundreds of thousands of years ago. By arranging the five cores in different places and times, it would be possible to enhance a Spirit Field to an almost limitless degree. It would bring magic-like powers, such as the ability to alter the orbit of a planet. The first Spirit Field probe experiment achieved some initial success, but was still far from achieving the results it was designed to obtain.

290 U.C.: At 19 years old, Scotia lead a small fleet to participate in the Tenth Fleet Observation War, held by the Antu Empire. With her genius for command, Scotia used high-speed attack ships to defeat the defending champion Duke Rancor's heavy combat fleet and earn the championship. Once it was revealed that she was a pirate, Scotia led her fleet in escape and easily defeated the pursuing Imperial navy fleet. Her victory made her famous across the Galaxy, inspiring many pirates to join her adopted father's pirate group. This group later became the Skeleton Knights.

290 U.C.: The late sociologist Professor Kusto's previously unpublished essay "Path of the Free Rangers" was discovered in Vonyu Star System. The essay showed Kusto's support for the Free Rangers. Since Kusto was an esteemed member of the Pioneer Alliance Reform Commission, the Alliance government had to carry out their investigation in secret. They also discovered that Colonel Triinu, the director of the military supervision division, had been in contact with Kusto, causing them to suspect that Triinu may be a spy.

291 U.C.: Scotia had earned an awesome reputation by winning the Fleet Observation War and defeating an Imperial Navy fleet. The empire paid the famous Galactic Security Company captain Azrael a great sum of money to attack Scotia. Azrael launched a fierce attack, but the two sides were evenly matched. Azrael never thought that Scotia, a pirate that he had let go three years ago, would become his match in battle. The battle ended in a draw. The enemies of the Galactic Security Company began to push back harder after they learned of Azrael's defeat by Scotia.

292 U.C.: Recently promoted to brigadier, Triinu used her new authority to obtain new Pioneer Alliance battleship blueprints as well as battleship weaponry blueprints purchased from the Antu Empire. The Free Rangers were able to use these blueprints to rapidly strengthen their forces. They were soon powerful enough to match the strength of the Pioneer Alliances first, second and third capital fleets.

293 U.C.: Having learned that the Pioneer Alliance Anti-espionage Division was monitoring her, Triinu knew that she couldn't be of much help to the Free Rangers while she was working undercover. She knew that her 11 year undercover mission was about to come to an end. Triinu applied for a vacation, then had somebody else take her place so that she could escape to a system under Free Ranger control. After she disappeared, the Pioneer Alliance finally figured out that the youngest Pioneer Alliance brigadier in history was actually a spy.

??? U.C.: Triiinu, the most famous Human spy, returned to the Free Rangers after an eleven year undercover mission. The first thing she did after returning to the Free Rangers was get married to her true love Kaleos. Their wedding was held on the Free Rangers' most developed planet, and the marriage ceremony was hosted by Zinara, the leader of the Free Rangers, who had also spent time working undercover.

296 U.C.: Zelray, a physicist known for his "cosmic tree model", presented a new theory that sent reverberations throughout the Galaxy. Zelray proposed that the universe is a great body of knowledge. Since the 1900s A.D., Human scientists have argued over who is the observer in quantum mechanics. Zelray explained that the first entity to have the power of observation is the universe itself. The universe determines which probable outcome will become reality in our world, while simultaneously pushing other probabilities into a parallel universe. Although the Omahars gained powers almost equal to the universe itself when they ascended, they could not have avoided confronting the universe itself. They offended their authority in the universe and so were exterminated by the universe.

299 U.C.: The Arcahn invasion began. The Arcahns' goal was twofold: take the remaining Bosikal Energy and exterminate the descendants of the Omahar race. The Arcahns attacked 13 Human-occupied star systems simultaneously. The Humans eventually repelled the Arcahn's first invasion, but suffered very heavy losses doing so.

300 U.C.: The two remaining Arcahn fleets that had attacked Perseus Arm united. The Antu Empire quickly organized a force, and engaged the Arcahns in an intense battle. The Antu Empire put their entire force into this battle, a total of seven capital fleets, and completely annihilated the invaders of Perseus Arm. Through analysis of the battles with the Arcahns, it was clear that the thirteen Arcahn fleets that attacked the Milky Way Galaxy were merely sent to test the strength of the descendents of the Omahars, Humans. Military strategists warned that an even larger Arcahn force would invade the Galaxy in the near future.

300 U.C.: The nations of three of the four arms of the Galaxy had repelled the Arcahns long ago. The Ise Consortium had realized that the Arcahns could not be persuaded to back off through negotiations. Not wanting to lose their main fleets, the Ise Consortium hired a massive number of mercenaries to battle the Arcahns. The mercenaries didn't have the scale or firepower of a government fleet. None returned. While Ise was still reluctant to use their main force, the turrets of nine systems in Cygnus Arm were turned to dust.

300 U.C.: Due to the Arcahn invasion, the four major governments were no longer able to develop and rule over the new frontiers of the Galaxy. Faced with an ever-decreasing ability to rule its territory, the Earth Confederate announced a new star system management rule: people will contribute to the government based on their reputation. In the four arms of the Galaxy, there were now eight major factions. Reputation was the only standard for evaluating whether the commanders of each star system were a friend or foe of the relevant government in the area.

301 U.C.: With 19 star systems destroyed and one of the navy's capital fleets completely wiped out, the Ise Consortium finally decided not to sit back and watch the fight any longer. They sent their remaining six capital fleets to battle the Arcahns, which had already gathered in preparation for battle. Three of their fleets were destroyed and three suffered major losses, but Ise finally defeated the Arcahn invaders in Sagittarius Arm. It was the Ise Consortium's selfish capitalism that caused them to suffer such heavy losses, turning the Milky Way's most prosperous economic entity into one of the weakest nations.

301 U.C.: The Antu Imperial Navy had lost a third of its force due to the Arcahn invasion. Seizing upon the empire's weakness, Scotia and Azrael decided to stage an uprising in Antu territory. Scotia named her pirate group the Skeleton Knights. They seized five star systems that year and established Skeleton Knight bases within them. The Skeleton Knights outstanding use of guerilla tactics prevented the empire from wiping them out.
